Once upon a time... a girl from Alabama met a boy from New York, they fell in love, and lived happily ever after! Baylee and Mike often daydream about how many unique events had to happen over many years to make their love story possible. Baylee would have to compete in Miss Alabama USA and meet a lifelong friend who was competing in Miss North Carolina Teen USA. Mike would have to make a move to High Point University to finish up college and meet this same lifelong friend. Baylee would have to take a job with her current company, Landing, where she would be sent to Austin, Texas, while Mike decided to finish law school in Raleigh, North Carolina. As Baylee was asked to transition again over to Charlotte, North Carolina, Mike was traveling to and from Charlotte to visit with lifelong friends he had made at High Point. Baylee would have to reconnect with her long-time friend once she arrived in Charlotte, and someone would have to post an incredible photo of them together. Mike would have to be in the right place at the right time to see the photo, and ultimately make what would be the greatest first move of his life. Mike and Baylee would have to go on their first date at The Porter's House, and the rest, as they say, is history.
